Hooray for my first amigurumi, my little birdy!
I haven’t crocheted since my grandma taught me as a little kid, so I taught myself how to crochet again with online tutorials, had a quick practice, then made this little guy

By the way, the bird is sitting on a quilt my mum made out of a "jellyroll" (quilt material bought already cut into long strips and sold in a roll). It has these gorgeous antique colours and patterns, and is one of my favourites (so it is always on my bed!).

Just having a nap on his favourite rock. The sky is stormy so I think he’ll be looking for cover soon! Wombats don’t come out in the day unless it is very cloudy, so we are lucky to see him today.
